WELCOME to OUR WORLD MISS HARPER ANN

Technically Miss Harper Ann needs to wait 3 MORE weeks to grace us with her presence! BUT, we are still ready to meet her! November 7, 2012 is her actual due date!  We did celebrate her Coming SOON this past Saturday September 29, 2012 11:00- 12:30!

We have been planning this shower for a little over a month and I am very excited it was such a success! The shower was held at the home of Mrs. Martha Estes in Hamby, Texas.  Although I did get there late due to my night spent in the emergency room the ladies did everything so beautifully. We worked on Thursday night decorating to get ready for the special occasion before Kirstie arrived.  We all had a special part in the shower and it turned out AMAZING!

Sammi was in charge of the diaper cake and a basket full of goodies for the sign in table, Brenda Windham was in charge of invitations, Martha was in charge of the fabric for décor and hosting the shower at home, Kascha and Carla were in charge of food and cupcakes, Vicki was in charge of getting the hostess gift, and last but not least I was in charge of the sign in frame, cupcake tower and the guest gift log! To help Kirstie out later on we had everyone address an envelope when they came in the door! Because soon she will have a little one to take care of and we wanted to make everything as simple as possible!

This little girl has everyone wrapppped around the little old finger and she isn’t even here yet! She got sooo many gifts and cute little things!  Thanks to all who came in love and support of  The Clevenger Family! 

Doctor...who?

Have you ever met someone who is normally so stubborn that it makes you mad...?     I guess i fall into that catagory!

Turns out. The pains ive been feeling the last couple months is... NOT just acid reflux. Turns out i need a Doctor & even worse. SURGERY. YIKES.

Not something i ever thought id be nervous about because truthfully surgery is my passion in life. I LOVE what i chose to go to school for. But on the DL. Im nervous!

1:00 am pain
1:30 ice cream ( normal cure)
2:00-4:00 vomiting and uncomfortable up and down
4:15 driving in the pouring rain becauss i finally gave up and woke Wesley up.
5:00 in a room, bloodwork, iv
5:30-7:30 a little sleep
7:30 doctor came in 
8:30 ultrasound and urine sample
10:30 - gallbladder fullllll of stones surgery needed. Apt monday for more info
11:00 home and headed to Miss Harper Ann's shower.

Even though everyone is mad at me for not letting them come to hospital my sweet babe took great care of me. So thankful for him, everyday!

Little Miss....

I am sure your wondering what you might get out of this post...but this one is all about... LITTLE MISS HARPER ANN!

Tomorrow is here Abilene shower & i am ohh so excited about what shall come! But until tomorrow some things are still a surprise! Today i picked up the gifts from kids village and for about twenty mintues or so i sure did drive around like there really was a child in the baby carrier in my backseat only to remember sweet Harper doesnt need to arrive for at least three more weeks, but hopefully about November 7th!

JUST A NORMAL TUESDAY!

It has just been the NORMAL Tuesday around this office and my life today….

WE started off with the patient that INSISTED that I turned the channel to THE VIEW so that she could watch the….OUR ever So LOVELY BLACK President and his bride on TV.  Little did she know I was going to tell her NOOOO. I only wish that I could so Nicely tell her I didn’t care to see that shit much less hear anything that SORRY man had to say.  But I was overruled by someone who had a little more heart than I did today. So I got to not only watch but listen to that sorry…well I bet you know how I feel.

THEN around lunch time when I was ohhh so Hungry! But we weren’t finished with our morning so I ALSO got to watch THE CHEW.

Not to mention with all the crazy people of the day I finish my oh sooo busy day with THE MUFF DIVEER on TV. ONCE again my least favorite thing to watch on TV ELLEN.  I know that my day may  not have been entertaining to many between charts and paper work and crazy people but here is the deal. I must entertain myself before I LOSE my mind. 

I will finish this blog out with something I did enjoy! My lunch at The Bakery with a nice TURKEY BACON Sandwich with Swiss cheese and a Dr. Pepper! Not to mention I found lots of fun stuff on Pinterest.

Im hopefully headed home soon to get some time in Tanning, a run and maybe try out my new workout! Then some cheer practice with my 15 little cuties. We will probably be learning the MACERANA again today since we perform that at our game Saturday against Jim Ned. WE must be prepared, because I know they will be.

Lazy Cake Cookies –

1 box of yellow or white cake mix

 2 eggs beaten

5T melted butter

2C chocolate chips.

Mix together and bake in 9X13 pan on 350 for 20 min.

Any of my friends/ followers know that for me to even be talking about exercising I must have seriously LOST my mind…but here we go anyway! I actually enjoy working out and running. A couple of months ago I was running every night and it felt great to be in shape and looking good. NO, I don’t need to lose any weight but I did enjoy feeling in shape and not tired all the time! It did get to hot to run at night with the pups so unfortunately I did lay off for awhile because I did enjoy taking the dogs with me on my nightly runs! But the weather is coming on nicely and I cant wait to get back out and run! It was my birthday!!!

My birthday post is a week past due...but ive been so super busy! I started the day off with my flag football game! They WON! My girls sang a full on happy birthday to me! We had a wonderful dinner at Beehive! & then my Surprise party! Sarah, Katy, babe, and my family blew it out of the water! It was fabulous! I got a beautiful necklace & earring set from my babe! I couldnt have had a more spectacular birthday!

I apologize for the boringness lately....ill try and get better!

When i woke up this morning i thought about how thankful i was for my life and how much im enjoying life and everyone in it! I have had such a geat day! These are a few things ive thought about today or project ideas! Also found some cute outfits!

Up an....COOKIN'

Good morning to all, I hope you had a wonderful Friday night, I did! Lazy night of watching movies and a little sleep! I am up early this morning have lots to do! But cooking breakfast was the first thing on my agenda! A little back story on what Miss Betty Crocker is whipping up this morning! My dear friend Steph its her birthday today! I miss her ohhhh so dearly because, well she happens to live FAR FAR aWAY from me now! But when she lived here I basically saw her more than my own family! The three musketeers had plenty of adventures together during out little SURgical tech School “Roller COASTER” is what I like to call it. Court, Steph and I pretty much saw each other every day! & Every Great once in a while Steph would treat our class to what has become MY FAVORITE (thing to eat) or make for that matter! But I think Steph and her mom Def Made it look prettier than mine always comes out! But you get the idea! Maybe one day mine will be perfect! Happy Birthday Steph and in honor of your special day! Part of my blog is about you…and the breakfast croissant of Course! Im headed over to the boy’s house! Hope they love it as much as we did! Hope you have a fabulous BIRTHDAY IN NEBRASKA, and I hope your family made it safe! LOVE YOU STEPH!

BREAKFAST CROISSANT

TRACY RANKIN

Can make 1 large loft or 2 small lofts

2 - Tubes of Crescent Rolls - 8 count (Pillsbury are best)

1 – LB Breakfast Sausage (I use the hot – gives more flavor)

2 – 7 oz Can Chopped Green Chilies – drained

1 – 8 oz Cream Cheese

6 slices of Cheese   (I like it cheesy!! – you don’t have to add this to it)

1+ Cup Grated Cheese (use whatever type cheddar, pepperjack, etc)

1 – Egg - beaten

Preheat oven @ 350*.

Brown and drain breakfast sausage, add cream cheese and stir until melted and well mixed, stir in green chilies.  Set aside.

On parchment paper lay Crescent Rolls and roll out with a lightly floured rolling pin (this seals the seams and makes it much easier to roll the loaf together to seal all seams).  Bake on cookie sheet.

Lay 3 slices of cheese in the center of the crescent rolls. Pour the sausage mixture down the center of the crescents.  Add the other 3 slices of cheese and then top with grated cheese.  After adding the sausage mixture carefully fold the two sides together (using the parchment paper to help fold over) to meet in the center and seal.  (I use the egg wash to help seal the seams) Seal all seams and both ends – will make a long loft or 2 lofts.

Rub the egg wash over crescent dough and sprinkle with Poppy Seeds (optional).

Bake for @ 350* for 25-28 minutes or until golden brown. 

Carefully slide the log off parchment paper and cool on wire rack, slice and serve. If you leave on the parchment paper the bottom may become soggy.

*Note – It is easier (saves time) if you make the sausage mixture and form into a loft and refrigerate overnight.
