WORN out WEDNESDAY!

Generally i plan out my blog weeks ahead of time, as did i this week. I was so excited about this weeks WEALTHY WEDNESDAY, but after certain circumstances last night and today. What your getting is well a different version.

Last night i arrived home around 9 pm with lots of little Susie homemaker duties on the agenda...
  • Laundry
  • Tanning
  • Cleaning Carpets
  • sweeping
  • mopping floors
ooooh & making my Sticky buns from yesterday's blog

But that definitely didn't happen.

I started my oven & black smoke immediately filled my house. I automatically called Casey (in tears) and he headed home. I was pretty scared but the moment he yelled from the kitchen where our stove was on fire, to "Call 911" i panicked and pretty much began to hyperventilate. Steve and Casey were able to get the fire somewhat out pretty quickly. In 8 minutes from the time that i called 911 the fire trucks were here and in full force trying to figure out what had happened. Two hours later  we were in the house cleaning up the mess left behind. We moved the stove out last night and i tried to sleep. Awaking this morning to talk to my boss about what had happened and getting the insurance company on the phone. LONG day of cleaning and still kinda being in shock i managed to mow the yard and thank the lord that it wasnt as bad as it could have been.My family and friends and my babe there no matter what. Last night was terrible but could have been ten times worse. Thanking the LORD.

Goodnight all.

Sticky Buns?

Sticky Bun Breakfast Ring

2 small tubes refrigerator buttermilk biscuits OR 1 tube Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuits
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 C. pancake syrup (any brand you like, I used Mrs. Buttersworth)
1/3 C. packed light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 C. chopped pecans, optional
1/4 C. chopped almonds, optional

Instructions:
Spray a fluted pan with non-stick spray. Combine the melted butter and syrup in a small bowl and set aside. In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts (if desired). Place about half of the syrup mixture in the bottom of the pan. Then sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture on top. Lay the biscuits on the bottom of the pan, overlapping edges (closely together) to form a ring. Top with remaining syrup and sugar mixtures. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1 minute in the pan, then invert onto a serving platter and enjoy!

Yes, you may call me the sappy type

Normally this post would be SUNDAY FUNDAy...but today is a little different.

Why? You ask!
Well it's Easter-a day no one should take for granted because if it weren't for our lord & savior we wouldn't be here! Jesus made the biggest sacrifice of all.
we spent our day with both families for lunch at Perinis & then for napping and the masters at my grandparents house! Hope everyone had a blessed day!

Now on to the rest of my post.

Casey will probably make fun of this pretty quick but oh we'll I'm sometimes a hopeless romantic! (majority, let's get real!) We have traveled back n forth to Abilene several times and seen families or couples out taking pictures In the bluebonnets! I have enjoyed watching and seeing all these beautiful pictures of everyone on Easter Sunday and especially in the bluebonnets! (so there you know my secret) I'm in love with photographs! They truly show the happiness on people's faces and in their heart. If I had the talent I would give anything to be a photographer! It's always been a huge dream of mine...(dream on right!) Also today I am thankful for the fact that so many of my beautiful friends are expecting children of their own & I can be apart of if all! As many of you know my love for children grows by the day!(once again. Yes I know. I'm getting soft.)

So since there are no bluebonnet pictures here a gorgeous one I happened upon! Happy Sunday all!

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and NOW Tuesday

Hello bloggers...im so sorry to have been away for so many days!
BUT: here is the deal.
I’ve been a busy girl and just haven’t had much time.
So for today

I will make up for FUNKY FRIDAY

HOW CUTE is this??

Simple Saturday was spent with part of my loved ones & sweet friends BRADLEY AND AMBER who celebrated their FIRST Anniversary as a married couple yesterday March 2, 2012. Congrats you two, we love you! We saw a friend of Casey's get married & we spent the evening out at the Red Dirt pavilion with BJ, but on the way home we decided we would have rather just been old and stayed home. (Not the hanging out with BJ part though.)

SUNDAY FUNDAY---->
lemmme just tell you how this started
LOWES:  buying materials for the tiling project.
TACO CASA
Then mom and i ventured to Hawley to get more materials

While away I receive a phone call via Callie (Terry’s Wife)
Phone call: WE are going to go ahead and knock the wall out too. (Dad, Casey and Terry)
Me: oh ok....

Mom and i arrive home finally and the demolition begun.
plus laying the liquid nails/ hardie backer/ and actual screws for the actual project we had set out to do.

MONDAY consisted of still being manic---->
-taking calls all day while still trying to be of assistance to everyone else
-taking my little prince man to the vet (he wasn’t feeling soo well)
-finding out he had worms
-going to MCoys for more thin set (aka Versabond)
-Getting pizza and running many countless errands while everyone was working so hard at my house!
-Laying tile…just perfect

Where are we to now??
Ohhh Tuesday, that’s right.

While I sit here in this quiet house this morning I really think about how blessed I am. I enjoy my family, love and friends being around. I enjoy  my job and the fact that I am able to do things for myself and to help while people are helping me. My two puppies are amazing and so cute. Im a blessed girl and we should remember to give thanks to God more..afterall he could take it all away in a heartbeat. So when you say your prayers today make sure and remind him how thankful you are for all your many blessings.
Have a great day everyone…
Until next time…Miss Whit

Hmm thoughtful/thankful Thursday?

Thoughtful/ thankful Thursday was designed for many reasons.!
1. Because I needed something that started with a "T" for Thursday
2. Thursday is that day in the week I kinda all dread. "it's not quite Friday yet" (but it can tease you all day long!) SKANK!
3. Thursday is my LONGEST day of the week! Well for a few more weeks! 6:30 am-8:30 I am BUSY! Therefore I sometimes forget to be "thoughtful" or "thankful"
4. Please try and kick this skanks ass today! "Thursday" I mean!
My thoughts or thankfuls
1. My honey replaced the dryer cord- I can wash clothes again!
---yes you ask why I'm excited?
-----> I cannot stand for dirty clothes to be consuming my very neat and tidy home.
2. I have a wonderful lord who shines upon me each day.
3. My friend Kkw and baby caden...oh and mister Bo may be buying a house close to us! Spoiling him :) I think I shall!
4. I have a fab job to get up and go to everyday
5. Dr peppers and Los Arcos even though babe thinks they are both unacceptable...
6. Babe has been home awhile this time & yes! I love it!
7. Great family & friends
8. My sweet puppies!!
Thoughts...
I need a dp
I'm taking a big step today
I want new awesome kicks
& some new scrubs
I don't want babe to leave
I need to clean my house
---it's my Friday!!!!
----> mini vacay till Wednesday
------>Ohhh and payday! Whoo hoo!
Happy Thursday everyone!

Just another manic Monday...

I had really planned to also blog on the two weekend days...simple Saturday and Sunday funday. But let's face it. That will probably never never never ever happen because I really just enjoy not knowing where my phone or computer is!

So for this manic Monday which I will end up incredibly grouchy before the end of if because I got ZERO sleep! Grrrr! Friday night we we absolutely lazy and I LOVED it!

Saturday was spent moving thing around from house to house. You. n safely say everything is still piled right where we left it! Normally this isn't like me. But I just didn't wanna do it. We went out for an interesting night and slept in on Sunday!

Lunch with my grandparents & a trip to lowes wore us out!! Haha so ps3 and me a nap! Perfect Sunday! Barbeque and then we watched a weird/adult/(a girl with the dragon tattoo) awkward but good movie.

Oh yes now we have actually made it to manic Monday. I'll just say a little prayer that I can make it through the day.

Have a great day.
