You cant take the Country out of the girl!

As many of you know I used to do this every day…but here lately. Im just not my normal “blogging” self. You may want to ask what’s wrong. But please, don’t waste your breath. Answer: I simply just don’t know anymore, How to fix it: I simply do not know. But I’m losing too much weight trying to figure it out! Don’t get me wrong the daily run sure does make me feel a million times better. But there is simply something else wrong. Simply…I know right, not everything can be simple…but I sure as hell never thought it would be this hard. I have accomplished so much in life. And I should be proud and let nothing bring me down, but here I am wallowing in my own sadness while sitting at home watching Sex and the city. Enough with my whining.

My week was spent with lots of friends and some family, some fire works with a precious little girl and her mama. My favorite little thing on earth, some Rodeo action and a little beer drinking with family and great friends. My little Snow White car got to take two mini road trips with my parentals to watch friends and the brother up in the rodeo! ( you can take the girl out of the country…but you will never be able to take the country out of the girl. The weekend ended with a family lunch Grandoarents, parents and brother and whit! I got my run in early because I simply couldn’t wait for tonight.

But the highlight of my day even though I haven’t met the little handsome guy yet

, My sweet friend Keeli, and her fiancé Bo welcomed their precious baby boy after 40 plus 

hours of labor. After 40 plus complicating hours they decided Ryan cade Patton was too big 

and they sent keeli in for a C section. Mother and baby are doing well and I will hopefully

get my picture and to hold this handsome guy tomorrow! I am so proud for Bo and Keeli 

and their dream coming true today when the precious guy arrived. I definitely cannot wait

 to enjoy this feeling myself…someday! Good job Kat!!

Manic Tuesday?

Manic Monday...oh wait, I don’t get to use that excuse anymore

Today is definitely Tuesday because tomorrow is JULY 4^th!

I bet you are wondering what this means, it means that im off work for the whole day. My little brother is up in the Double Muggin at Stamford and I get to see lots of people I only get to see about once a year! Whoo hoo.

Here are some facts for today!

Insightful Fact- Each day we wake up with new challenges to face and today im I think im facing all of them! I woke up in the night feeling terribly nautious and I decided I take a phenergran( medicine to help with nausea) and went back to sleep. I most def over slept and was running through the house trying get everything situated in a short amount of time. Late to work and a tad bit of wrinkled scrubs and no makeup whoo hoo for a day off tomorrow.

Exciting Fact- one of my bffs is possibly having a baby from now until Friday! WHOOO hooo come on baby Cade we are ready to meet you instead of cooing, awwwing and talking to your mom’s tummy all the time. I bet you are thinking these Aunts’s of mine are NUTS!

Crazy Fact- I have been running again for over a week and ive never felt better. Bet you didn’t think that would ever come out of my mouth as soon as I walked across that stage did you?

Sad Fact- I only get one day off for the fourth…blah

Gross Fact- Last week I went pool swamping with my mama while trying to get her pool cleaned out and ready for use!

Important fact- this girl needs some sleep! And lots of it!

Frustrating fact- I wanna know where my life is headed

Weird Fact- If the polish on my nails chips I must take it all off and repaint them

Going to be a crazy busy week but after my sleep in and house cleaning tomorrow ill be ready. Have a good day all

A little weekend recap

Friday after I got off work I spent time helping my mama on a little bit scary adventure. Pool swamping. Yes people that's what I said, it was interesting. I won't include a picture but just picture a large oval above ground pool, a swamp and two women...bahah if I could only know what you just saw in your mind.

Shortly after I went to the other parentals & laid out for about an hour and a half.

This was followed by a one and a half mile run,nap, dinner and fireworks at the lake with parents.

Saturday morning cleaning and more pool time.

Got to spend a short amount of time with Casey and he's already gone again.

Sunday afternoon Is here and I'm alone watching some tv...

Quiet time

So when it comes to most of my little adventures it has a lot to do with my sweet pups because that's "who" I spend most of my time with.

So tonight I decided I was going to make it a point to walk or run when its cool enough to stand. But I thought who better to take than my sweet babies. I got their leashes and out the door we went. We walked a bit or they basically drug me because this isn't something they are used to. Then we ran about a mile. And cooled off back to the house. I really enjoyed it. It was a nice quiet time even though I really do spend most of my time quiet or listening to little paws pitter patter across the floor or the snoring and sighs of them sleeping. Off to do dishes and maybe get my tan on!  Night world!

A whole crazy week

Oh my..where to begin

I have pretty much had a very interesting week filled with many ups and downs and crazy turns along the way.

First off we will Start with a week ago today, in total I have spent a whole year and a half with a man that makes me happy, laugh, learn to forgive, try and forget, keeps me on my toes, constantly missing him and learning to live a different sort of life. But we always seem to roll with the punches and make it through another day. Sometimes I struggle and feel like I’m falling but something always seems to catch me and remind me it will be ok. The lord has most to do with this but casey is normally there saying it will be ok. We spent this day apart, him working on preparing for the test he had to take on Monday, and me with my family on fathers day. Along with visiting with a sweet friend while getting some gas & mowing and cleaning out the carport…fun day huh!

Monday was brought by a grouchy doctor and a full day of work. A great lunch with two of my three lovely co- workers & a surprise before 5. Some beautiful Pink and white Roses with a  sweet card. Happy year and a half…and a day! Like I said, everytime I feel like the world is falling down, I get the small reminder that I do matter.

Tuesday I had a full day of work and a dinner with my lovely old roommate & her sweet fiancé at wing stop! Its great to remember I have some of the best friends in the world even though we are all soo very busy with our own lives. Pretty soon they will have a little sweet, rotten and spoiled boy for me to spoil even more. I cannot be happier for all of my friends and their sweet little families. I cleaned out my car and got it all ready just in case I had any luck Wednesday!

Wednesday was a half day of work and car shopping with my Daddy! Great day spent together and looking for me the perfect car. Although I had small break down in the Lawrence Hall used car department…so I am a tad impatient and a little spoiled and I just didn’t get my way this time. So I went home and went and hung out with grandma and then home for a small nap.

Thursday morning much to my surprise I was up way before the normal time because I was so stinking excited about yet another car possibility and I couldn’t wait to get there to check it out. The rest of the day I patiently waited for the text messages or phone calls and deals trying to figure out what my best bet was. Praying that I could handle whatever was thrown my way. And whether or not I can handle it we will just have to wait and see, but I will continue to work my ass off for all of my hopes and dreams. So with that being said meet SNOW WHITE. My brand new 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. White in color with Ebony black interior and boy is she FANCY. Not as fancy as casey’s ride of course but she will make me very happy! Gas mileage is the BOMB and im already in love with my new little car. Although I will miss the little red go faster car, because boy did we have some good times. Speeding tickets, road trips, wild nights and lots of miles. But she was a good one! Not to mention I come home to a refrigerator that went out..yayy!

Friday- half day of work and surprise road trip to see my sweet mimi and my bestest friend who is expecting a sweet tiny little baby and we were going to find out what baby Peanut was going to be. After a huge surprise we found out that I get a….

BABY GIRL CLEVENGER IS ON HER WAY! WHOO HOO

Saturday consisted of shopping with my sweet friends and thirsty hubby for clothes for that sweet surprise baby girl. And a two and a half hour drive home to see my mama who had spent the whole week in Florida for their 50s girls trip.

Now…lets see where to finish. SUNDAY

Sleeping in to find out the ac wasn’t working, helping put up the pool liner a house full of chores needed to be done but it was way to hot. So I slept instead. Waking up to 85 degrees in the house I took a trip outside to try and figure out what was wrong when my very nice new neighbor helped me out and I think its finally cooling off in here. Oh and I made homemade hamburger helper and its oh soo much better than the box shit. The rest of my day was spent thinking….and wondering and wishing and trying to figure out where things are going. Not to mention that I must find a swimsuit and get a tan in less than a month before our beach trip gets here. Blahhh the end. Goodnight everyone!

Happy One and a half years...and a day!

It's a day late...
But I just walked into our kitchen to shut everything down for the night and sitting on the table so gorgeous were my breathtakingly beautiful flowers. Sometimes I get down because Casey is gone most of the time. But it's his little gestures and points of affection keep me going. Sunday was one and a half years of us putting up with one another. Monday afternoon a gift was delivered to my office. I'm not a sappy person but I pretty much nearly cried. They were so beautiful and the card was one of a kind. So whenever I.get down and feel like things are crashing around me. Here or not he is there to keep me going. I love you Casey! Thank you
