Any of my friends/ followers know that for me to even be talking about exercising I must have seriously LOST my mind…but here we go anyway! I actually enjoy working out and running. A couple of months ago I was running every night and it felt great to be in shape and looking good. NO, I don’t need to lose any weight but I did enjoy feeling in shape and not tired all the time! It did get to hot to run at night with the pups so unfortunately I did lay off for awhile because I did enjoy taking the dogs with me on my nightly runs! But the weather is coming on nicely and I cant wait to get back out and run! With that being said, today I came across a great blogger on Pinterest who had come up with a GREAT workout/ Running playlist I thought Id share!

It was my birthday!!!

My birthday post is a week past due...but ive been so super busy! I started the day off with my flag football game! They WON! My girls sang a full on happy birthday to me! We had a wonderful dinner at Beehive! & then my Surprise party! Sarah, Katy, babe, and my family blew it out of the water! It was fabulous! I got a beautiful necklace & earring set from my babe! I couldnt have had a more spectacular birthday!

I apologize for the boringness lately....ill try and get better!

When i woke up this morning i thought about how thankful i was for my life and how much im enjoying life and everyone in it! I have had such a geat day! These are a few things ive thought about today or project ideas! Also found some cute outfits!

Up an....COOKIN'

Good morning to all, I hope you had a wonderful Friday night, I did! Lazy night of watching movies and a little sleep! I am up early this morning have lots to do! But cooking breakfast was the first thing on my agenda! A little back story on what Miss Betty Crocker is whipping up this morning! My dear friend Steph its her birthday today! I miss her ohhhh so dearly because, well she happens to live FAR FAR aWAY from me now! But when she lived here I basically saw her more than my own family! The three musketeers had plenty of adventures together during out little SURgical tech School “Roller COASTER” is what I like to call it. Court, Steph and I pretty much saw each other every day! & Every Great once in a while Steph would treat our class to what has become MY FAVORITE (thing to eat) or make for that matter! But I think Steph and her mom Def Made it look prettier than mine always comes out! But you get the idea! Maybe one day mine will be perfect! Happy Birthday Steph and in honor of your special day! Part of my blog is about you…and the breakfast croissant of Course! Im headed over to the boy’s house! Hope they love it as much as we did! Hope you have a fabulous BIRTHDAY IN NEBRASKA, and I hope your family made it safe! LOVE YOU STEPH!

BREAKFAST CROISSANT

TRACY RANKIN

Can make 1 large loft or 2 small lofts

2 - Tubes of Crescent Rolls - 8 count (Pillsbury are best)

1 – LB Breakfast Sausage (I use the hot – gives more flavor)

2 – 7 oz Can Chopped Green Chilies – drained

1 – 8 oz Cream Cheese

6 slices of Cheese   (I like it cheesy!! – you don’t have to add this to it)

1+ Cup Grated Cheese (use whatever type cheddar, pepperjack, etc)

1 – Egg - beaten

Preheat oven @ 350*.

Brown and drain breakfast sausage, add cream cheese and stir until melted and well mixed, stir in green chilies.  Set aside.

On parchment paper lay Crescent Rolls and roll out with a lightly floured rolling pin (this seals the seams and makes it much easier to roll the loaf together to seal all seams).  Bake on cookie sheet.

Lay 3 slices of cheese in the center of the crescent rolls. Pour the sausage mixture down the center of the crescents.  Add the other 3 slices of cheese and then top with grated cheese.  After adding the sausage mixture carefully fold the two sides together (using the parchment paper to help fold over) to meet in the center and seal.  (I use the egg wash to help seal the seams) Seal all seams and both ends – will make a long loft or 2 lofts.

Rub the egg wash over crescent dough and sprinkle with Poppy Seeds (optional).

Bake for @ 350* for 25-28 minutes or until golden brown. 

Carefully slide the log off parchment paper and cool on wire rack, slice and serve. If you leave on the parchment paper the bottom may become soggy.

*Note – It is easier (saves time) if you make the sausage mixture and form into a loft and refrigerate overnight.

Wild Day!

whewww! I'm worn out from my fast and furious, but fun day
First thing I woke up and went right back to sleep in the good old tanning bed...not as Comfy as my bed...but killed two birds with one stone! Work came next & then a little shabby junkin at a little new found love of mine on butternut....CLASSIC creations antique mall! I found what my little heart had been set on for the front yard...and I did mention it was all 50 percent OFF! SO 22 dollars for two shabby antique wicker chairs and a wicker table! Next some lunch with my Sammi Jo and some light chatting about life...and that fun stuff! Did I mention I was getting my hair did! Whoop whoop ohhh and nEw makeup Thanks to my friend Courtney for putting it out there! Elf..rocks my socks off! Eye brows ship shaped and a little dollar jewelry shopping too! Night ending with a dead phone! Some food & academy for some bullets for the good old 9mm that I shot this weekend!  Sleeeeep please!

Crumbling...

First off….what a week!

I honestly didn’t know after today how much more I could handle! I thought I was being tested really hard for something I’ve never studied before. And guess what I FAILED. This week I have definitely let stress get the best of me and so therefore I pretty much see that as a small failure. This whole month and half a year has been a big challenge and a hard study for a test I’m not sure how to prepare for. Lots of the things over the past month have been by my choice, but they did stream from other things. I didn’t just dream up wanting my life to turn out differently than ive been planning. But as for this last two weeks has been filled with lots of time getting things back to normal before I need to be committed. I have moved furniture and bought mostly new things trying to get my home back to a home and not have to be embarrassed when people come by to visit. I have moved many important things into my home, they were my Gram’s she has been gone far too long and I miss her everyday but I know she is watching over me and is glad my home is full of the things she was prod of.

As for this week lots of fun over the weekend with Mine and Sarah’s hangover type morning looking for her…and her purse back and forth to cisco a couple times.

Dad and I started trying to figure out my major bathroom problem which consisted of ripping apart a bathroom the second half of Saturday only to find not only was my toilet leaking…but the sink was leaking worse. BLAHHHH. SMH. I know. How terrible. Finally around 9:30 we called it quits and I took a trip to good ol CISCO AMERICA, to hang out with my friends for a chill night!

Sunday was a lunch, nap and remodel some more kind of day! Not to mention a father, daughter trip to lowes!!! I Love the time dad and I have been able to spend working on my house. These memories with my family are ones ill never forget and will always mean so much to me. Knowing my house was first built on love from my family. Finally get the bathroom finished Wednesday only to figure out that I have a 300 electric bill and I need to call a tech out to work on the ac!

WHOOO hoo tech coming on Thursday to fix the ac….and to tell me I have to come up with another 375 this month to fix the remaining duct work under the house! Can you say….WATER WORKS. Sometimes this tuff girl just cant handle it all. EVEN though she tries.

It was all better by a surprise visit from my lovelies. THEY Remind me that I do have a purpose on this earth! And off to meet the Bulldogs we went!!

My parents were there to proudly support me and the little Squad tonight! THEY DID SOOOO GREAT! Cant wait for the rest of the season!

Im following this night up with a short visit with my angels of Grandparents who have told me they aren’t taking no for an answer on helping me with my house. I cried. Because im one blessed girl who could not make it through this life without my family, friends and the good lord. Thank you Lord for continuing to bless me even when my faith is lacking.
